The unwritten etiquette (violations end up in team notes)
Don't steal the stamp
Whoever files, stamps. Submitting for a teammate steals their progress cutscene. Once is rude; twice is deliberate.
Wait at the counter
Your chain-run partner is climbing back up after missing counter 5. Wait 4 seconds before counter 8. It costs you nothing and saves the friendship.
Open the outer door for rookies
Outer-line teaching: veteran jumps first to show the landing, rookie follows. Diving into the fog alone leaves a team note reading "guide disqualified".
Relay splits only
In relays, call out splits — never total time. Total time is the team's problem. This is footnote one of the relay rules.
Radio callouts (community standard)
| Callout | Means |
|---|---|
| "Got a number" | I'm at the machine — carry on |
| "Window 3" | I'm stuck; someone demo this bit |
| "See you in the fog" | Taking the outer line, don't wait |
| "Stamps short" | Missing materials; falling back to the last checkpoint |
Relay records (3-player rotation, Day 5)
| Team | Time | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Window Shift | 17:32 | Two districts each; the Records split ran dual outer lines (visually majestic, practically questionable) |
| Stamp Assembly Line | 18:05 | One runner, two fetchers — they turned the bureaucracy game into actual bureaucracy |
| Carry Service | 21:40 | Two veterans escorting a first-timer: all-silver, full achievement tour. Board granted them a special tag: "Most Ministry-Spirited" |
